Police investigators in Ridgefield are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to gather information about a one-one-vehicle crash that destroyed a utility pole.
According to police, at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, a vehicle struck the pole on North Street, breaking it into several pieces. A white Chevy SUV with New York license plates was spotted in the area with front end damage traveling toward Route 116 (North Salem Road).
